Travel

At the moment, our travel time has been brought to a standstill...We would really love to hear about all of your experiences to give everyone thoughts for the future. I would love to put up readers day/weekend/extended trips so that others could see if they would enjoy making that journey. If you have a favorite Bed & Breakfast, hotel, restaurant, festival, or attraction to share - drop me an email and let me know why it should be posted.

I will not use this area to post negative comments or statements.

My sweet hubby and I were fortunate to spend a weekend in Hermann, MO for our anniversary this year. What a wonderful little community. We explored the wineries, ate to our hearts content, enjoyed visiting with the locals, laughed through the antique shops with "Oohhh, I remember this..." I am sure we will return.

Hermann is full of B & B's (absolutely NO chain hotel/motels). Each have something different to offer and by excellent recommendations we chose the Lydia Johnson Inn. What a beautiful home and Betty & Chuck Hartbauer were wonderful hosts. Thank you both for everything it could not have been a more enjoyable weekend.

Strawberry Souffle was perfect. Light and bursting with flavor.

Our room, next time I must do a better job representing the room. Still I think you get the idea. Randy & I slept so peacefully (I think I am ready to go back).

My sweet hubby and I are two peas in a pod. One of our favorite things in visiting new areas is being able to find the unique places to eat. If you have any suggestions please let us know.
