Lydia Johnson Inn, Hermann, MO

We were fortunate to spend a weekend in Hermann, MO for our anniversary this year. What a wonderful little community. We explored the wineries, ate to our hearts content, enjoyed visiting with the locals, laughed through the antique shops with "Oohhh, I remember this..." I am sure we will return.

Hermann is full of B & B's (absolutely NO chain hotel/motels). Each have something different to offer and by excellent recommendations we chose the Lydia Johnson Inn. What a beautiful home and Betty & Chuck Hartbauer were wonderful hosts. Thank you both for everything it could not have been a more enjoyable weekend.

Strawberry Souffle was perfect. Light and bursting with flavor.

Our room, next time I must do a better job representing the room. Still I think you get the idea. Randy & I slept so peacefully (I think I am ready to go back).
